She holds an MBBS and MD in Pathology, and is known for her precision in diagnostics, commitment to quality standards, and leadership in medical education.

She has been instrumental in leading pathology departments and plays a pivotal role in teaching and supervising PhD candidates as well as postgraduate allied health sciences programs. Dr. Shruthi is actively involved in research, academic mentoring, and is a recognized PhD guide. Her expertise extends to conference organization, curriculum development, and continuous medical education (CME) programs.

Dr. Shruthi has significantly contributed to laboratory quality assurance and NABL accreditation, having served as an Internal Auditor for ISO 15189:2012 standards.
